Arcade Fire Show Off HTML5

This has been around for about a week now but it’s an amazing example of HTML5 (with probably a little help from CSS/JQuery too). The Arcade Fire new song “We Used To Wait” has been used as a backdrop to this music video that pulls images from Google Maps and Google Streetview from your own specified hometown.

I found this amazing site yesterday, it was built by a Google employee and demonstrates the power of HTML5 and it’s new features. Combined with CSS and JavaScript techniques HTML5 can be a very powerful. Examples of client-side db storage, new CSS tricks, and new HTML5 tags are just a few examples put forward.
