Abandon Facebook

Jason Calacanis has written a great post about why we should be abandoning Facebook as it gradually consumes the free web.  There’s some interesting points in there regarding Facebook’s privacy issues (or lack of them) and CEO Mark Zuckerberg.  Read the article here.

Some people within the web are starting an abandon Facebook campaign to try and get users to spend their social media time within more open and free environments online.  It will be interesting to see whether this will have any effect on the behemoth that is Facebook.
