BBC Glow

If you’ve seen the BBC site and love the feel of the moving widgets on the homepage then check out BBC Glow – It’s a free API that the BBC developed and have made public.  One of the features are the sortable widgets which are fairly simple to implement.

Currently I’m working on incorporating Glow into our intranet UI.  Like the BBC’s homepage we can nicely move, shrink, and hide individual widgets to create a personalised intranet homepage.

It’s just a case of some nifty jQuery, Glow integration and sexy CSS styling and I’ve quickly put together a great looking interface!
